Horizon 2020 is the EU framwork programme for research and innovation. It is also an EU programme with an impressive budget. During 2014 – 2020, close to 80 billion EUR are earmarked to provide funding for the transformation of innovative technology into marketable products and useful industrial processes.

We are proud to announce, that Nelson Seed Development recently has been granted an amount of 1.2 million EUR from the Horizon 2020 funds for further development of our groundbreaking seed enhancement method – seed vitalization. Since the basic technology is already fully operational, the EU contribution will primarily be used for the funding of an extended test programme.
