Our new method (seed vitalization) cuts labour and logistics costs related to priming drastically. By offering in-house priming with modest space requirements it is likely to reshape the entire landscape of the seed industry. This view is shared by the Kamprad Family Foundation (Mr Kamprad, is the former of the global furniture giant IKEA), the Swedish Innovation Agency and Horizon 2020 – the EU programme for research and innovation. Thanks to the joint financial support from these partners, a pioneering vision has now materialized.
